On February 3,
2009 at approximately 1600 hours, HBPD
Officers responded to the 800 block of
Pacific Coast Highway regarding a robbery
that had just occurred. The victim was a
store employee of Sassy's and was robbed at
gun point. The suspect entered the store and
posed as a shopper asking the victim for the
price of several items.
The suspect
then approached the victim at the cash
register and brandished a semi-automatic
handgun while ordering her to the ground.
The suspect stole money from the store's
register and also searched through the
victim's purse. The suspect ordered the
victim to the rear of the store and told
her, "If you come out, I swear I'm going to
shoot you" and left the location in an
unknown direction.
Anyone with
information regarding the suspect's
description or identification is urged to
contact Detective Mick Gaglia.
