advised that a catalytic
converter was stolen from a
Toyota 4Runner on March 3
that was parked on Meadows
adjacent to Mira Costa High
School, sometime during
school hours. It's another
thing to be aware of.

(Vehicle Burglaries)
Victim's two vehicles were
parked and locked on the
streets when unknown
suspect(s) smashed the
driver's side window and
stole the GPS units, one
from the windshield and the
other from the
dashboard.

3/3/08 - 3/4/08 4:30 p.m.
- 5:45 a.m. 200 block of
Johnson Street
(Vehicle Burglary) The
victim parked his vehicle in
front of his house and used
the keyless remote to lock
it. He returned to find the
driver's side door ajar.
Unknown suspect(s) entered
the vehicle by unknown means
and took a briefcase
containing gas cards and
glasses from the second row
of seats.

(Graffiti) Unknown suspect(s)
wrote graffiti using a red
marker on the garage door.

(Vehicle Theft) Unknown
suspect(s) stole the
catalytic converter from the
victim's Toyota Previa Van
which was parked and locked
on the street. Suspect(s)
removed bolts and sawed
through an exhaust pipe to
remove it. |

REQUEST FOR
ASSISTANCE/VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
The St. Patrick's Parade is
on March 15th
from 11 AM to 1PM. The
parade route starts at Pier
and Valley and goes West on
Pier to Hermosa and then
South to 9th St.
Volunteers are needed from
9AM to approximately 1:30 PM
to assist with traffic
control along the parade
route. Volunteers will get a
green St. Patrick's Day
staff t-shirt for their
efforts.
Volunteers need to be at
least 18 years of age and
can stand at a location for
several hours. If you can
help, call the Community
Resources Department at
