Synopsis: 
 
A female was sexually assaulted and robbed while walking alone on a walk street in the very early morning hours.
  
Details:
 
On 12-14-2008 at approximately 3:30AM the female victim was walking alone near the Strand in Hermosa Beach.  She was approached by the suspect who engaged her in a brief conversation.  The suspect then sexually assaulted the victim.  The victim fought back and was able to escape.  The suspect did take the victim's purse as she escaped.
 
The suspect is described as; male Hispanic in his 20's, medium build (120-150LB), shorter stature, with a short cut hair.
 
A composite rendering was produced and is attached.
