To all of the HBNW Block Captain's:
Please remind your residents to (1) SIGN for the
packages, (2) have the packages delivered to your
office or a neighbor that is home to SIGN FOR the
package or (3) leave a note for the driver
telling them to not leave the package if you are not
home to sign for it.
During the holidays, criminals will follow the
trucks and watch for a delivery to be left on the
porch. Please be pro-active and if you know you are
going to receive packages, make arrangements to be
home or ask a neighbor. We do not want to see you
become a victim of a crime of opportunity.
HBPD has taken a large number of reports that all
involve stolen packages from FED-EX, UPS, Etc.
